Nintendo has proposed changes to its Articles of Incorporation – a document that outlines a company’s purpose – that could see the company begin making medical and health devices.
According to a document which includes notice regarding partial amendment to Nintendo ’s Articles of Incorporation, the company is hoping to add “development, manufacturing and sale of medical devices and health devices,” as well as “development, manufacturing and sale of computer software,” to its portfolio.
The amendment proposal will be brought to the 76th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for consideration on June 29.
