Appitized Health has been working with different NHS Trusts to create internal apps for hospital staff that will help to streamline productivity.
These internal apps are only accessible by staff and can become a vital hub of information for a company, according to Appitized Health.
Through the variety of collaborations the company said it has found five ways in which apps can be used to help make a dramatic difference to staff management.
The five ways Appitized Health said apps can make a difference to NHS trusts are:
Real-time view of staffing levels – Enables trusts to check their staffing levels on the go and make sure they’re prepared for under staffing in advance.
Improve communication, both amongst team members and between senior staff – Makes sure all trust staff have access to the most up to date information and ensure that all staff have the same level of knowledge.
Helps to keep teams paper free – Being paper free allows trusts to store all information in one place and eliminates the need for printing.
Easily approve/reject holiday requests – Managing staff’s holiday requests and sick days digitally enables trusts to access to requests quickly and will help them to manage staff holidays more efficiently.
Manage staff rotas – Enables trusts to keep full control of staff shifts and makes sure they are always aware what staff they have available at the touch of a button.
Internal apps help to greatly streamline access to information and, according to Appitized Health, by having an internal app, trusts are ensuring that staff have access to any information they need, whenever or wherever they may be.
Many NHS hospitals are moving towards a more streamlined and paper-free process and already these apps are proving to be a vital source for saving time and money, according to the comany.
